This is the 3rd system in the Complex effects section of my AGRAT project. This Lava Attack demonstrates how the same components can be used to create very different effects, as this effect is functionally similar to the Ice Attack, but with a different visual effect.
Combines sprite emitters, mesh emitters, decals and GPU lights to create the differnet aspects of this effect.
The project Was centred around exploring the different potential uses of particle systems, ranging from simple to complex. I created these assets using Unreal Engines Niagara VFX System. As this was an educational project in which I learned the functionality of Particle systems, a small number of the assets featured were either inspired by or created using Niagara tutorials found on Youtube. For these assets I either adapted and expanded upon or maintained the original style in order to showcase my understanding and experience in the creation of different assets with Unreal Engine's Niagara.
